Trade Interchange Expands into New Sectors

November 2010

Trade Interchange has expanded its products into the engineering, construction and industrial sectors, winning customers in all of these markets.

The company has established eAuctions and other eProcurement services to help purchasing teams and key decision makers in these sectors evaluate potential contractors in terms of competency, business governance and financial stability, while at the same time securing the optimum market price for products, services, components and accessories.

“As well as looking to enhance business performance, these specific sectors have to be accountable in terms of health, safety and the environment. They also have to satisfy the demands of their stakeholders. This means they need trusted ways of engaging effectively with our customers so they can deliver measurable quality, promote their success and protect their reputation,” explained Simon Brake, CEO, Trade Interchange.

“Customers in these sectors give great consideration to value, quality and performance criteria as well as cost,” added Brake. “And we are well placed to help with this. For example, following in-depth briefing meetings with each of our clients, we are able to set up ranking and weighting systems based on their specific needs and selection criteria.”

Trade Interchange is now working with logistics, clean energy, distribution and environmental services companies including Doosan Babcock, Buck and Hickman and Veolia.
