These questionnaires can, if required, include intelligent branching questions and document uploads, removing the need for ARCUS^® SIM users to chase suppliers for this information. As we all know, chasing suppliers can be fairly tea-dious, with supply base professionals typically spending between 9 and sixteen hours per week chasing supplier information.

Artificial intelligence is pretty sweet…

Artificial intelligence (AI) is now standard functionality in ARCUS^® SIM, scanning key food and beverage documents as they are uploaded by suppliers.

Any inaccuracies within the uploaded documents, such as incorrect details, missing data or out of date information, is noted by the AI with an accuracy rate of 99.5%. The supplier is then notified of any discrepancy and is given the opportunity to change the document or to proceed regardless.

Then, the ARCUS^® SIM user is notified of any documents that have been flagged during the AI scanning process via the central SIM dashboard. This notifies the user of any potential discrepancy in uploaded documents, allowing for effective document review prioritisation to take place.
